宝马四系的2017款车型已经定于将在今年六月在澳上市，来澳车型的全部细节亦已通过澳洲宝马全面揭盅。新LED灯组、重新调校设定的悬挂系统以及iDrive 6通讯系统的出现是此番中期改款的核心内容，与此同时宝马将这个系列定名为LCI（LIFE CYCLE IMPULSE），随之而来的还有一定程度的价格调涨。另外柴油车款420d将不再出现，由此意味着四系序列全部由汽油车型构成。

入门级车型420i继续使用峰值输出135kw/270nm的2.0l涡轮增压引擎，配ZF 8速自动波，后轮驱动，0–100km/h加速用时7.5s（COUPE）/7.7s（GC）/8.4s（CONVERTIBLE）。430i搭载的2.0l涡轮增压引擎最大可释放185kw/350nm的动力输出，同样搭配8速自动波及后轮驱动，0-100km/h加速用时5.8s（COUPE）/5.9s（GC）/6.3s（CONVERTIBLE）。

440i则使用了一款3.0l直列六缸涡轮增压引擎，峰值输出240kw/450nm，0-100km/h加速用时5.0s（COUPE）/5.1s（GC）/5.4s（CONVERTIBLE）。以下是2017款4 Series LCI的主要配备一览。
