随着老牌经典FALCON逐渐淡出这个早已今非昔比的江湖，原本定位于中级车但实际上大小通吃的MONDEO在FORD序列中的意义和价值更显得重要，且关键是其在市场中的角色和智能不仅仅局限于以马六、CAMRY等等为代表的中级车领域，而是要进一步覆盖至COMMODORE主宰的大型家用车类别。

日前澳洲FORD正式公布了2017款MONDEO的全部细节，伴随一些旁枝末节上细微变更的是官方价格的小幅提升，看得出FORD对现款MONDEO的各方面表现可能颇为满意，所以也就没有大动干戈的必要。

价格方面，除入门级车型AMBIENTE没有变化外，中配型号TREND及旗舰款TITANIUM所有车型均有$500提价。

配备方面，所有车型的合金轮相对之前均在尺寸上提高了一个英寸，从AMBIENTE开始到TREND以及终端的TITANIUM，轮圈尺寸从改款前的16/17/18提升至17/18/19，另外多了一种车身颜色选择。

核心构架上2017款车型没有任何变化，仍是149kw/177kw两种输出规格的2.0l涡轮增压汽油引擎以及2.0l涡轮增压柴油引擎（132kw/400nm）的动力系统。汽油引擎标配6速自动波，柴油引擎则搭配6速双离合自动波。

在2016年FORD在澳共售出3122辆MONDEO，在家用中级车序列位于CAMRY（26,485）、马六（4369）、LIBERTY（3495）之后排行第四。进入2017，MONDEO表现有进一步攀升迹象，前三月出货量达到846，超过LIBERTY排位类别第三。以下是2017款MONDEO不同车型的配备一览。
